Why Smoothie Cards? Here’s our story
I am originally from Ukraine, but I came to the US through a tennis scholarship. One of the things I struggled with was keeping my energy levels up, and practically the only healthy habit I had was a smoothie obsession. I often ate unhealthy foods that could slow me down during tournaments, but I was always able to push through and still played in the number one spot for most of my career. Then I met my husband Justin, one of the first things I noticed was his obsession with learning about health and maximizing lifespan through exercise and nutrition. But he was always low on energy from his factory job and he said that coffee was just a short term solution that couldn’t last. Then in 2021 we had an idea, why not combine my smoothie obsession with his health studying to solve our low energy problem and maintain a healthy lifestyle at the same time? Enter Smoothie Cards, we’ve spent hundreds of hours testing recipes, researching health benefits as well as nutritional info to make the best tasting and most informative smoothie recipes around. Next we started pages on social media to ask people what they thought of the recipes and designs to see if they had any suggestions. Then we raised over $4,ooo through crowdfunding on Kickstarter to fund our first production run, and now Smoothie Cards are for sale on Amazon! This is only the beginning, we have so much more planned for the future. So in the meantime get yourself some Smoothie Cards, then just sit back, sip on one of our exotic recipes and enjoy the show!

Smoothie Cards was more than just our idea, many of the designs and even the final color of the box were directly influenced by our community on social media. So we decided to fund our business with the same grass roots approach, by using Kickstarter. With the help of our community and many others who saw Smoothie cards for the first time, we were able to raise over 4,000 dollars to pay for our first production run! The fact that we achieved our goal so quickly, and that such a diverse group of people would back our idea is proof to us that Smoothie cards have the support to make it anywhere!
